Terms and conditions

Last updated: 2026-05-15

1. Seller identification

TIMELAB is operated by Joseba Hidalgo, self-employed (autónomo) in Spain, NIF 47467159N, registered office at Avenida de las Suertes 32, Madrid. Contact: hello@timelab.watch. Operations are conducted under the Spanish special regime for second-hand goods (REBU, Régimen Especial de Bienes Usados).

2. Catalogue and product information

All watches listed on timelab.watch are pre-owned, individually inspected, and described to the best of our knowledge. Photographs are of the actual unit on offer. Minor cosmetic signs consistent with age are inherent to vintage timepieces and are not considered defects. Detailed condition notes are provided in each listing.

3. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include the VAT margin under the REBU regime. No VAT is separately itemised on invoices issued under this regime, as legally permitted. Prices do not include shipping unless explicitly stated.

4. Order process

Sales through timelab.watch are formalised by direct enquiry. Once an enquiry is received, we confirm availability, total price including shipping, and payment instructions. The contract is concluded when payment is received and a confirmation email is sent. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

5. Payment

Accepted methods will be communicated when confirming the order: SEPA bank transfer for EU buyers, and other arrangements case by case. Full payment is required before shipping.

6. Shipping

Watches are shipped registered and insured to EU destinations. Shipping costs are quoted at the moment of confirmation. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer when the courier confirms delivery to the address provided. International destinations outside the EU may be subject to import duties payable by the buyer.

7. Right of withdrawal

EU consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from receipt of the watch, without justification, in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 1/2007 and Directive 2011/83/EU. To exercise this right, write to hello@timelab.watch within the deadline. The watch must be returned in the same condition as received, with original packaging and documentation, at the buyer's expense. The price will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned watch.

8. Conformity and guarantees

As pre-owned goods, watches are sold subject to a legal conformity guarantee of one (1) year, as established by Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Royal Decree-Law 7/2021. This guarantee covers hidden defects existing at the time of delivery and does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, water exposure not specified as guaranteed, or unauthorised servicing.

9. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Spanish law. In case of dispute, EU consumers may resort to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Spanish consumers may contact the relevant consumer arbitration authority. Without prejudice to the above, the parties submit to the courts of Madrid.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated. The version applicable to each transaction is the one in force at the time of the order confirmation.
