The watch is in good vintage condition and was running correctly at the time of listing. The champagne textured dial retains its factory-style sparkle finish, clear printing and applied hour markers; under close inspection, a few small dark marks are visible near the centre, together with a faint circular trace beneath the hands. The gold-plated case shows normal age-related wear, with the plating worn through in places around the lugs and case sides, revealing the base metal underneath — cosmetic and consistent with the watch’s age and previous use. The stainless-steel screw case back shows surface scratches; the Seamaster hippocampus medallion remains clearly defined. The acrylic crystal shows light superficial marks from normal use. Fitted with a modern black leather replacement strap and gilt-tone pin buckle, neither made by Omega. Service history is unknown, and water resistance has not been recently tested. No original box or papers.
