Master Collection Moonphase
Longines Master Collection Moonphase, reference L2.409.4.78.6, with a 34 mm stainless-steel case without the crown, silver barleycorn dial, moon phase and pointer date, and the Longines L899.5 automatic calibre.
The silver barleycorn-textured dial carries black Arabic numerals and blued hands, with the moon phase and date integrated into the subdial at 6 o'clock. The L899.5 has 21 jewels, beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour, uses a silicon balance spring and offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve; it is visible through the sapphire case back. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. It comes on its original Longines steel bracelet with signed triple-folding safety clasp with push-piece opening.
Very good pre-owned condition and fully functional. The dial is very well preserved, with its texture, numerals and minute track clean; the moon disc presents well and the hands retain their blue colour. The sapphire crystal shows no significant chips or scratches. The case has superficial scratches and hairlines, mainly on the polished surfaces and around the lugs, with no major dents. The bracelet and clasp show more noticeable wear, with numerous surface scratches, especially on the clasp cover. The movement runs correctly, and winding, time-setting, moon-phase adjustment and date have been tested. Service history is unknown and the 3 bar water resistance has not been recently tested. Includes the original bracelet and clasp and the Longines presentation box; no original papers.
