Chronograph
Eterna chronograph from the 1940s, with a stainless-steel case of approx. 35.8 mm without the crown and the manual-winding Eterna calibre 703, based on the Valjoux 22.
The champagne-silver dial carries applied gilt Arabic numerals and markers, blued hands, small seconds at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and outer tachymeter and telemeter scales in red and blue. The steel caseback is signed "Eterna Watch Co Swiss" and "Acier Inoxydable".
Very good vintage condition for its age. The dial shows natural ageing, patina and small age-related marks. The steel case is well preserved with light signs of wear, and the crystal and strap are in usable condition. The watch runs and keeps time; the chronograph functions (start, stop and reset) have been tested and work correctly. No recent service history is available, so a service is recommended for daily use. Watch only, with no original box or papers.
