Hamilton Jazzmaster Auto Chrono featuring a striking blue sunburst dial, 42 mm stainless-steel case and Hamilton’s H-21 automatic chronograph movement with approximately 60 hours of power reserve. One of the highlights of this reference is its deep blue sunburst dial, which changes noticeably depending on the light, ranging from dark navy to a vivid metallic blue. Applied polished hour markers, recessed chronograph registers and a discreet date window between 4 and 5 o’clock complete the elegant yet sporty Jazzmaster design. The traditional three-register chronograph layout features a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, running seconds at 9 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock. Inside is Hamilton’s H-21 automatic chronograph calibre, based on the proven ETA/Valjoux chronograph architecture and offering an extended power reserve of approximately 60 hours. The movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition case back, including the signed Hamilton rotor and decorative finishing. CONDITION The watch is in good pre-owned condition and fully functional. The blue sunburst dial presents very well, retaining its rich colour and attractive metallic finish. The applied hour markers, hands and printed details are clean and well preserved. The sapphire crystal presents well, with no significant scratches or chips visible during normal inspection. The stainless-steel case shows light scratches and superficial marks consistent with normal previous use, particularly on some polished surfaces and around the bezel and lug areas. No major dents or significant impacts are visible, and the overall case geometry remains well defined. The Hamilton H-21 automatic movement is running correctly. The chronograph has been tested through start, stop and reset, with the hands returning correctly to their reset positions. Time setting and date adjustment also operate as intended. The sapphire exhibition case back provides a clear view of the Hamilton-signed automatic movement and decorated rotor. ORIGINAL STRAP – IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE The watch retains its original Hamilton brown leather strap and original signed Hamilton folding clasp. The original leather strap shows heavy wear from previous use, including noticeable colour loss, creasing and deterioration of the leather surface. Its condition is clearly shown in the photographs. The strap remains usable but, for regular wear and the best overall presentation, the new owner may prefer to replace it. The original Hamilton folding clasp remains in good working condition and can be transferred to a compatible replacement strap.
