Longines Master Collection Moonphase – Ref. L2.409.4.78.6 Elegant Longines Master Collection Moonphase featuring the distinctive silver “barleycorn” dial, blued hands, moon-phase display and pointer date, housed in a refined 34 mm stainless-steel case. This reference combines traditional proportions with one of the most attractive complications in the Longines Master Collection. The finely textured silver dial is complemented by large black Arabic numerals and blued hands, while the moon-phase display and pointer date are elegantly integrated into the subdial at 6 o’clock. The watch is powered by the Longines calibre L899.5 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire exhibition case back. It operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve. It is fitted with its original Longines stainless-steel bracelet and signed triple-folding safety clasp. BRACELET SIZE The stainless-steel bracelet currently measures approximately 14 cm when laid out, excluding the watch case. With the watch fitted, the current bracelet configuration is suitable for a wrist circumference of approximately 16 cm. Please take this into account before purchasing. The silver barleycorn dial is very well preserved, with its textured finish, Arabic numerals, minute track and moon-phase display presenting beautifully. The sapphire crystal is in very good condition, with no significant chips or scratches visible during normal inspection. The stainless-steel case shows superficial scratches and fine hairlines consistent with normal previous use, particularly on the polished surfaces and around the lugs. No major dents or significant impacts are visible. The original Longines bracelet and clasp show more noticeable cosmetic wear, including surface scratches and hairlines, particularly on the clasp and polished sections. These signs of use are clearly shown in the photographs for an accurate assessment of the watch’s condition. The automatic movement is running correctly. Winding, time setting, moon-phase adjustment and pointer-date operation have been tested and function as intended. Service history is unknown and no recent service documentation is available. The original 3-bar water-resistance rating has not been recently pressure-tested; therefore, current water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
