PR 516 “Blue Soleil”

Tissot PR516 reference 42630-1X from the early 1970s. Stainless steel tonneau-shaped case, 35mm excluding the crown, fitted with Tissot's manual-wind caliber 782-1 (17 jewels). The watch is in good to very good condition. The blue sunburst dial is bright with sharp original printing and a tiny mark near the "T" logo. Hour markers and hands retain light aging to the lume. The case shows fine handling marks consistent with age and does not appear to have been polished. The acrylic crystal has minor light surface marks typical for its era. The date function changes correctly. Movement winds, sets and keeps time without issue. Fitted with its original Tissot steel bracelet, 16mm wide, fitting a wrist up to approximately 20cm, and carrying a non-Tissot extension link. From a private collection. No box or papers.
